Have you ever thought that it would be fun to get together with some friends/colleagues and their dogs to learn some new skills?  Formal Dogs is proud to introduce a new service provided in your home:

Trick Training Party:
A fun class designed to teach the principles of trick training.
Tricks taught may include: shake, wave, beg, bow.  Treats supplied.

Obedience Party:
Using proven, practical and humane training methods, Formal Dogs can show you the principles of achieving reliable obedience under distraction. Formal Dogs uses the Lifestyle Canine Communication System and therefore does not use food rewards when teaching obedience.

Puppy Party!
Know a few people with young puppies? Not able to make it to your local puppy pre school?  Host your own!

Formal Dogs will go through the basics of dog ownership, socialisation, training (obedience & behavioural), and problem solving in fun and informative session.

Maximum age for puppies of 20 weeks applies to puppies attending these parties.

For the safety of the group - all puppies attending must be undergoing a current immunisation program.
If you have a puppy displaying extreme behaviours these will need to be discussed prior to acceptance in a Puppy Party – in most cases, this will not preclude a puppy from attending a Formal Dogs Puppy Party.

The Details:
Duration:  Each class runs for approximately 90 minutes.
Costs: prices on application.

Formal Dogs prefers to work in a small group environment, and therefore a maximum of 5 dogs is recommended at each party.  If you would like to include more dogs, this will need to be discussed with Formal Dogs at the time of enquiry.

Each dog requires a minimum of one responsible handler.

Not all dogs are suitable for Canine Party Plans – if your dog (or a dog wanting to attend the Trick Training or Obedience Party) has aggression or extreme fear behaviours, please contact Ruth to discuss the dog’s suitability for this type of class.

Contact Ruth at Formal Dogs for more information or to make a booking.
